Weatherley's of March Township

One of the interesting exhibits at Horaceville has been the display  set up to recognize the early "gentry" of March Township. Among the display  was this panel dedicated to information about Capt. James Dent Weatherley.
JDW was a close friend of Pinheys and frequently wrote to him  on the trips he made back to England while he was living in March. JDW eventually left Canada and returned to England, taking up residence in New Castle-Upon-Tyne.  He had spent 15 years in Canada and had acquired a sizeable amount of property.
